The creative loafing blogs are approved by an editor and I don't think they can be changed after posted. ( I'd like to fix the photo layout on my last one- but don't think it works that way. Gotta be committed to it when you hit Submit for review). So maybe her skinny, flabby, crack-whore ass photo was an afterthought.

Great job. If I may put my two cents in. Pelosi is a space cadet. That woman adjourned the State of the Nation 10 minutes after Pres. Obama had stepped down. What in the heck was she doing?

Also, she needed a better bra on. Her girls were at her waist.

i think a lot of people feel the way you feel. i appreciate that you don't indicate who you are talking about, although i suppose it can be inferred...

i wasn't crazy about my candidate in the beginning either, but i gradually became more enthusiastic the more i heard coming from the other camp...

First there were the people of England who were tired of the King's tyrannous rule. They were persecuted and beaten down until they moved away to form America. Then there were the Continental Natives(Indians). White people beat them down and persecuted them and stole their land from them, forcing them onto Indian Reservations. Then there were the Africans. White men brought them to America as slaves and beat them down and persecuted them. During which, all this time, women in general were beaten down and persecuted for their gender. Now that all of this has been put beyond us, aside from a few select bigots, the white man, joined by the Native American and African American, and women, and those of all races, have chosen now to pick on someone else. Who? Homosexuals. Why? The human race has a terrible need for self destruction. It's time to let go of that hatred.

I like Brett Favre and respect his decision to continue playing with the hapless Jets. However, Brett Favre has no idea what he has gotten himself into. The New York media is NOTHING like the Green Bay media which treated him like a legend and icon for many years. A few bad games (and there will be many of those) the media will be in his grill and poor Brett will quickly question WHY he came out of retirement. Good luck Brett!

Wow...that makes TONS of sense. So legalizing gay marriage won't cause a rush of gays and lesbians into the world's churches like many people seem to fear. Maybe if more people realized this, they would be less pressed about John and Brian or Mary and Cathy getting hitched. Their church can still keep people out as they please while letting other people live their lives as they wish.

Well put... nuff said. It amazes me on a daily basis how people so often forget that Jesus preached tolerance.
I'm not a religious person either but your statement summed it up perfectly.

Sometimes, I think about the story of what Jesus did to the temple and then I think of today's society... and then I think of that money-making slogan, "What would Jesus do?"
... and then I stop, because, the shame and embarrassment I feel is too great.
